Cheryl is a natural history artist living near Canberra, Australia. Cheryl works with watercolour on paper and vellum. Cheryl's artistic repertoire covers a diverse range of subjects, from Australian plants to exotic flowers, fruits, vegetables, as well as the intricate world of insects. Lately, she has dedicated her artistic endeavours to raising awareness of endangered species. Her ultimate aspiration, through her artistry and teaching, is to ignite curiosity and fascination in people for the natural world, instilling a sense of responsibility for its preservation.
Cheryl teaches botanical and insect illustration. She has created several online art tutorials, and she also has a YouTube channel where you can view demonstration videos.
Cheryl's studio in Jerrabomberra NSW is open by appointment and she usually has an open studio in October.
